Just finished watching the movie, I don't care what people say but I loved every minute of it. I have such a huge grin on my face! Apart from the fact that Imran Khan made me melt every time he came on screen, the movie was fresh, funny and incredibly cute.
I think the best part of the movie is the fact that it makes you want to be part of a romance as genuine as Jai's and Aditi's. I am so sure that hereafter if I ever get a chance to run after a certain special someone who decides to apdiye leave me and go to someplace far away I will also run to the airport and sing - Jaaane tuu....ya jaaaane na!
And yes, I am so high!

  2. It is def the chick-flick of the year. I wish Bollywood made more simple movies like Jab We Met and Jaane Tu.

  12. the movie was fresh....Never Ditto Fotocopy of Niram a Mallu Movie if u have seen the Niram within four frames u can predict the subsequent scenes..film rocked @ Box Office jus coz of the hype created by aamir and thanks to cosmpolitan gals who make (as usual) nonsense movies into a big hit.

Although initially I planned to watch it for Genelia, I haven't seen a fresher and sweeter romance yet :) full marks to ARR for his sexy music!

  15. Imran Khan is very popular in our household right now, esp with my commander in chief. Personally I think he is a very good actor with the added advantage that when he finally goes bald, he can comb back the hair in his eyebrows and no one will know. Loved the movie, BTW.

  19. I went nuts about DDLJ (in my defense, I was in class X then) and I used to repeat Kajol's 'aisa pehli baar hua hai' word-for-word and when I saw 'Jaane tu', I thought too bad I am not in class X to enjoy the movie like I should have with that weird teen innocence (where a late phone call from someone special would rip my heart) and relate it to some friend I had then :), but the song 'Jaane tu mera kya hai, jaane tu mera kya tha' still gives me goose pimples !
