Poetry, Modern

Today, She leaves me White, like the virgin snow Wasted. She wants change I don't. She wants freedom I give. She feels guilt ...

Today,
She leaves me
White, like the virgin snow
Wasted.

She wants change
I don't.
She wants freedom
I give.

She feels guilt
Hidden in a silence
Deafening.
Yet she doesn't return.

Tomorrow,
When she is alone
She will remember
Tomorrow.

There is a question
Only I
Can answer
Tomorrow.

That there is a hunger
Only I
Can satisfy
Tomorrow.

I am her lust
I am her craving
I am her desire
Tomorrow

Today,
I am Thayir Saadham
